The task of finding a dog bed that is functional and beautiful can be a difficult one.  Some beds are attractive but not practical or comfortable; some beds are comfortable but are a horrible eye sore and must be hidden when guests come over.  So what is a pet owner to do?

The creator Carol Perkins, an ex-model and fire-eater for Penn & Teller on Broadway, began creating dog beds, toys and robes for friends, at her kitchen table, while recovering from a rare type of brain tumor. Her creations were an instant hit, Carol found her calling, and Harry Barker—named after her Super-Sheltie—came to be.
